Note:
Participation in our Learning Events is recognized by the University's Co-Curricular
Learning (CCL) programme. Students that attend two Learning Events will receive
one CCL credit.
In this sensory learning workshop, you’ll have an opportunity to experience what it is like to learn
without the benefit of your sense of vision. Participants will be briefly informed about the main
categories of vision loss. Then, through a variety of fun, yet challenging games (e.g. Braille bingo,
tic tac toe, dominoes) and word puzzles (e.g. secret codes and riddles), you will learn about the use
of English Braille symbols as a tactile and alternative writing/communication system.
