They Never Taught Me That: Best Practices in Backing Up, Saving and Preserving Digital Objects (Including Your Honours Project)
  How often have you had to go back to a collection of files, only to be confused where, the one you needed is? There’s no course on how to organise your materials, back them up and ensure you can find exactly the right version you want 6 months later. Luckily librarians organise and preserve millions of bits of information every day!

GRE Orientation Workshop
  This two-hour workshop will familiarize you with the test format of Analytical Writing and Verbal Reasoning of the GRE revised General Test. Useful test tips and hands-on practice will be provided. This workshop is designed for students who have no or minimal exposure to the GRE General Test.

New Sounds in Western Pop Music
  This presentation looks at new developments in Western pop music of the early 21st century. "New" sounds here represent the various ways in which earlier pop trends of the 20th century are being reborn around the world. Using many video and audio examples, participants will hear and discuss how recent Western hits can often market older sounds in new packaging, while many of the liveliest innovations are coming from countries around Asia, Africa, and South America.
