New to HKBU Library? Or do you feel like you need to brush up your research skills? Our Library Survival Skills Series is for you!
These introductory workshops will equip you with important information skills. They are intended for students that have not had a lot of experience with academic research at university. The world of scholarly information can be intimidating, so why not let your librarians introduce you to the basics?
Due to a limited number of seats per workshop, you are encouraged to register early to secure your places. Seats will be allotted on a first-come-first-served basis.
Registration opens at 6 p.m. Thursday, August 24.
All about the news! Finding local & international news online
Introduce the Newspaper Library Guide, popular news sites available at the Library, and demonstrate how to use the
Library’s e-newspaper databases including WisersOne, Factiva, and other resources to locate news articles.
